Mr. Paredes is licensed by the State Bar of Texas and is a Member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from The University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. He received his Juris Doctor Degree from UNT Dallas College of Law. Prior to starting his own law firm, Mr. Paredes developed a Tax Preparation business in Arlington, Texas, where he has been serving the community for over 20 years.
When Mr. Paredes saw the legal needs of our community while working in his Tax Practice, he decided to get his law license so that he could assist the underserved, under resourced, and unrepresented community in Arlington and in the Dallas – Fort Worth area. Since he opened his law office, Mr. Paredes has been assisting the community with their legal needs in the areas of Immigration, Personal Injury, Estate Planning, Family Law, Criminal Law, and Real Estate.
Among other legal services, Mr. Paredes has been able to successfully defend immigrants in deportation proceedings and has helped families stay together by assisting them to obtain legal status. He has also fought insurance companies to get fair compensation for victims of car accidents and has successfully accomplish excellent results for his clients in many other areas of law.
